Lenovo VIBE K5 and VIBE K5 Plus expected to launch in India on March 15th

At this year’s MWC in Barcelona, Lenovo unveiled a bunch of tablets and convertibles, along with announcing the VIBE K5 and VIBE K5 Plus (first impressions) budget 4G smartphones. Now, the brand has sent out invites for a launch event scheduled in India on March 15th. While the brand has refrained from revealing more details, the VIBE K5 duo is expected to be launched in the country at the event. The Lenovo VIBE K5 and VIBE K5 Plus offer premium metal unibody designs, and run Android 5.1 Lollipop.



To recap the specs, the Lenovo VIBE K5 and VIBE K5 Plus both sport 5-inch displays, offer 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 13MP primary shooters along with 5-meg front facing cameras, and come backed by 2,750mAh batteries. While the VIBE K5 gets an HD display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 SoC, the VIBE K5 Plus sports FHD resolution on its screen and comes powered by a Snapdragon 616 processor. Both the smartphones feature dual-SIM slots and support 4G networks. The starting price of these smartphones is expected to be in the region of Rs 10,000.
