LeEco to celebrate LeEco Day on February 25th, Le 1s to be available on open sale

Chinese smartphone maker LeEco (formerly LeTV) has announced the launch of its global brand property LeEco Day in India via its online sales partner Flipkart. The shopping bonanza has been scheduled for February 25th, and will offer prizes worth Rs 8 crore to consumers. On LeEco Day, the Le 1s smartphone will be available on Flipkart without users having to go through the registration process.



The company has aimed for LeEco Day to be one of the biggest online shopping carnivals in India. The brand is expecting massive response from users. Globally, the vendor’s online sales from its annual ‘Fans Festival’ grossed around $270 million, making it one of the largest e-commerce events in China. During its ‘Black 919’ festival in China, the company set a new record for both volume and revenue in one day by selling 572,000 Le smartphones and 355,000 smart televisions. During LeEco Day in India, the brand will be offering Rs 8 crore worth of prizes and other exciting offers for consumers in India.

The LeEco Le 1s has created an industry milestone of receiving 220,000 total orders within 31 seconds in the three flash sales in the last couple of weeks. The brand has received a total of 2,028,000 registrations for the Le 1s in the three flash sales.

To recap, the LeEco Le 1s (review) was launched in India in January this year for Rs 10,999. It's the world’s first phone to boast a mirror-finished fingerprint sensor. The phone comes with a premium all-metal design, a 5.5-inch full HD display, and runs Android Lollipop-based custom skin called eui. It comes with a 64-bit octa-core 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 13MP primary snapper with PDAF, a 5MP secondary shooter, a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support, a USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, and an Infrared sensor.
