Sony MP-CL1 portable mobile projector launched for Rs 26,990

Sony today entered the portable mobile projector with the launch of the MP-CL1. The handheld projector utilises a laser light source to project HD resolution images (1920 x 720) with high contrast (80,000:1) for accurate colour rendition. It uses Sony’s Laser Beam Scanning technology to project high-definition images even on uneven surfaces.




The Sony MP-CL1 can project a screen size of up to 120-inches at a distance of 3.45 metres, and comes with a built-in speaker. You can connect it to a smartphone and tablet via HDMI or MHL cable. In addition, its inbuilt screen mirroring function lets you wirelessly mirror content from your smartphone, tablet or PC over Wi-Fi. The device has an aluminium body with a matte finish. It gets a 3,400mAh built-in battery, which delivers up to 120 minutes of HD playback.

The Sony MP-CL1 has been priced at Rs 26,990, and will be available across channels later this month. It comes bundled with a HDMI to mini-HDMI adapter and a detachable two-way stand.
